Cadence approaches video poetry as a literary genre presented as visual media that makes new meaning from the combination of text and moving image. This interdisciplinary nonprofit arts organization hosts an annual film festival and artist residency. Workshops, satellite screenings around the world, artist gatherings, and our virtual poetry book fair take place year-round.

Seasonal co-curation of annual festival, overseeing creative identity, branding, programming, artist and community partner communications, and onsite production. Provide mentorship to local experimental, interdisciplinary artists in residence to support the generation of new video poetry work. Manage resource-sharing and programmatic exchange with local, national, and international partner organizations. Design and lead generative workshops and discussions. Strategize promotions around calls for submissions and screenings, increasing ticket sales and revenue by 30% year over year.
